Therapy that helps you create real change.
Structured, practical, and evidence-based designed to help you think more clearly, respond more effectively, and create lasting shifts. Available in Idaho and California.
About me
I specialize in helping clients move from understanding their anxiety or OCD to actively changing the patterns that maintain it. My approach is direct, structured, and tailored to each individual. We focus on what is most effective—so the work leads to meaningful, lasting change.
I bring a direct, thoughtful, and engaged approach to therapy as a collaborative process. The work is tailored, focused, and grounded in what will be most effective for you.
I specialize in treating OCD through Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), the latest cutting edge treatment for OCD. I am also a Level 3 TEAM-CBT certified therapist through the The Feeling Good Institute founded by Dr. David Burns. TEAM-CBT is a research-backed, structured approach that uses ongoing assessment to support meaningful, lasting change. Ongoing collaboration with the institute for continued training, consultation and clinical development support my commitment to providing effective, up-to-date care.
My approach
My work is structured, engaged, and focused on outcomes.
I specialize in evidence-based therapy, drawing from approaches such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and TEAM-CBT with a focus on helping you apply these tools in a way that creates real shifts in your day-to-day life.
You can expect to:
Learn how to respond differently to intrusive thoughts and mental loops
Build tolerance for uncertainty and create lasting change in how you think
Feel clear direction and a sense of where therapy is going
Develop practical strategies that extend beyond the session
Have direct, honest dialogue balanced with warmth and humor
Bring ongoing attention to what is (and isn’t) working
Sessions are not open-ended—we work with clear direction and a shared understanding of what progress looks like, while allowing space for nuance and real-life complexity. We don’t stay at the level of talking about problems — we identify the patterns that are maintaining them and systematically work to change them. With consistency, many clients begin to notice meaningful shifts within a few months.

Who I work with
I primarily work with clients seeking therapy for anxiety, OCD (intrusive thoughts, compulsions, mental loops),and overthinking, as well as those navigating depression and life transitions. Many of my clients are used to being high-functioning but feel held back by patterns they can’t seem to shift. They’re often thoughtful, capable, and used to figuring things out on their own—but find themselves in patterns that don’t shift with insight alone.
What brings people here
When anxiety, overthinking, or OCD start to take over. You’ve likely already tried to think your way through this — but the patterns continue. At a certain point, insight alone isn’t enough. A more targeted approach is needed.
Feeling mentally exhausted from constant analysis, second-guessing, or rumination
Compulsions or repetitive loops that only temporarily reduce anxiety
Relationship patterns that repeat or feel difficult to change
Difficulty feeling settled, present, or confident in decisions
What therapy with me feels like
Engaged, practical, and forward-moving
I’m an active therapist. I’ll ask questions, offer observations, and help you stay focused on what matters most. Our work is focused on helping you apply what you’re learning in real time. Our work is collaborative—we’re paying attention together to what’s changing, where you’re getting traction, and where we need to adjust. The goal is not to stay in therapy indefinitely. It’s to help you build the skills and perspective needed to navigate challenges more effectively on your own.
Change and relief is possible—and it doesn’t have to take forever
With the right approach, it’s possible to significantly reduce anxiety, change your relationship with intrusive thoughts, and feel more steady and in control more quickly than you might expect.
If you’re ready for a more structured, effective way of working through what’s been holding you back, this may be a good fit.
I offer therapy for clients in Idaho (virtual and in-person with insurance coverage options available) and California (virtual).
